For the second time, Rev. Manbha from Meghalaya, northeast India, has accepted an invitation to visit Germany. For two weeks, he will shape life in the region with his open, warm manner and deep faith. He builds bridges between cultures, brings people closer together, and makes faith tangible in a unifying way. His work is characterized by warmth, compassion, and a spirit of friendship – lasting impacts.
The focus of his stay will be numerous encounters and information about aid projects and sponsorships that Khublei is implementing together with him in Northeast India – helping people and children in particular to help themselves.
During the social gathering at the Melber Inn in Höfen, friends, sponsors and interested parties enjoy a lively exchange.
A special highlight is the service with Rev. Christian Montag and Rev. Manbha in the Kreuzkapelle in Weismain, the birthplace of the missionary Father Otto Hopfenmüller, who once brought the Catholic faith to Meghalaya. Here, Rev. Manbha continues this tradition and continues the mission.
The service at St. Martin, Bamberg, led by Rev. Helmut Hetzel, is also a solemn affair. Afterwards, numerous sponsors meet at the Bug Mission House for lunch, a chat, and coffee. The participation of the mission brothers adds a special dimension to the day.
Another highlight is the patron saint's festival in Unteraurach, organized by Stephan Fuchs and Tanja Wohn-Nagengast of the Unteraurach Catholic Chapel Association, together with Rev. Sebastian Schiller. Following the presentation of the aid projects, the subsequent agape (meal) develops into an intense moment of community. Around the Piaggio Ape, which offers drinks and delicious Franconian specialties, a powerful symbol of togetherness emerges, moving many.
Further stops on Rev. Manbha's visit will take him to Speyer and Ottobrunn. The farewell ceremony in Stegaurach will mark the culmination of the visit – a grand celebration of faith, community, and solidarity.
Even before his departure, interested parties and club members are contacting us to express their interest in accompanying Pastor Manbha on his annual return visit to Northeast India next year.
Everyone who has the privilege of experiencing him during these days agrees: these encounters enrich, inspire, and forge a strong bond of friendship. The shared wish is clear:
“Welcome next year, Pastor Manbha!”
