Current state of schools
Schools lack the basic things. The buildings are often far too small. Sometimes there is only one classroom in which children from different grades are taught by a single teacher. As a makeshift, lessons are held outdoors, but the monsoon rain often makes this impossible. Therefore, many schools urgently need additional classrooms and classroom facilities.
Our activity
We spoke directly with local teachers to find out in a very practical way the needs of the local schools and children. This gave rise to our schools/buildings aid project. We want to support these caring educators and provide them with assistance.
