Report on the event on 6 July 2025 in the Stegaurach parish hall

“India Trip 2025 – Projects, Encounters, Impact –
Meghalaya: Impressions that Resonate"

On Sunday, 6 July 2025, the association Khublei – Hilfe für Nordost-Indien e.V. to an evening of lectures at the Stegaurach parish hall. Under the title "India Trip 2025 – Projects, Encounters, Impact," members of the association gave impressive accounts of their recent trip to Meghalaya – a region in the far northeast of India known for its breathtaking nature and the warmth of its people.

The association was delighted by the high level of interest in the lecture. The room filled noticeably shortly after it began. The pleasant, less-sweltering temperatures in the late afternoon contributed to a positive, open atmosphere.

The evening focused on personal encounters with partners and sponsored children, insights into ongoing projects on site, and reflections on the impact of the association's work. Authentic images and moving stories conveyed a vivid impression of life in Meghalaya – a region that, despite its challenges, is rich in cultural diversity, warmth, and hope.

The audience showed interest and commitment, asked questions, and subsequently engaged in lively discussions with the speakers. The event thus offered not only information, but also inspiration and connection – in the spirit of partnership-based development cooperation, for which Khublei stands.

A heartfelt thank you goes to all guests for coming and their support – as well as to all the helpers who contributed to the success of the evening.
